1997 American Silver Eagle Sales

The table below shows the US Mint’s 1997 Silver Eagle bullion coin sales figures.

During 1997, the United States Mint sold 3,636,000 ounces of silver. This marked an increase from the new low reached in the prior year. The approximate silver value of the Silver Eagle bullion coins sold by the US Mint during 1997 was $18,413,570. This amount is calculated based on the average monthly price of silver and the bullion coins sales for each month.
