1991 American Silver Eagle Sales

The table below displays the US Mint’s 1991 Silver Eagle bullion coin sales figures.

In 1991, the United States Mint sold 6,952,000 ounces of silver. This was a slight decrease from the prior year sales figures as the market price of silver continued to slide. The silver value for the US bullion coins sold during 1991 was approximately $27,652,890 calculated based on the average monthly price of silver and the bullion coins sales for each month.

The sales figures represent monthly sales totals, which might include coins minted in different years. The US Mint separately produced and sold proof coins for collectors. Only bullion coin sales are included in the table below.
